thanks for the modular/303 info... i started getting into modular during COVID lockdown (although amazingly i didn't touch it at all this FAWM). it never occurred to me that there would be hardware video modules as well as audio. do you have a modulargrid link or just a pointer to the video modules? i probably don't want to go down that rabbit hole, but still curious. 😅

EDIT: i'm guessing the erogenous tones "structure sd" is the main module for visuals.

My pleasure, Chris. I’m glad you got back to me in time as it turned out better than I thought. I got back from a night out (and a fair bit of wine) and couldn’t wait to get cracking at it. I had a lot of fun, posted it up and then starfished on the bed and passed out.

I’m super glad you like it. There’s a certain responsibility to try not to stink up someone’s already great track but I think it came out quite nicely.

Re: the additional space, I thought so too at first but I like that the vocals end when the glitched trumpets (which I love) come in and I managed to leave one other short bit towards the end before the outro.

Let’s hope we get a few listens. It always goes pretty quiet in March.

so glad you finally got the original postcard! the deep orange color was not faithfully represented in the photo (and that is my favorite color so glad you could see the real color - though perhaps the painting itself is also different when seen in person , and perhaps further different from when first painted since red tones fade more easily than other colors). Change is the only constant!
