I was intrigued by that combination of tags, and the song lives up to their promise. And how lovely to hear an ode to the humble starling; there's a flock of a couple of dozen of them tucking in to the mealworms I left out on my bird table right now...

Beautiful guitar playing and I love the use of the drone. A simple yet exquisite lyric sung with deep emotion.

Very cool oscillating drone, really sets the stage for an overall beautiful effect. Really enjoyed listening to this 💚

As others have said, the synth drone works beautifully here, a great counterpoint to the acoustic guitar. And I'm always a sucker for a drone that the chords and melody revolve around

Lovely tune. The synth adds a great texture to the arrangement.

Oooh. "Distance dulls your beauty/Petrol-dipped wing" is pure poetry. And the match with the music is fantastic. Coincidentally I saw a murmuration of starlings over the US Capitol Building in DC last night, and this brought the feeling of those wheeling flocks of birds to mind perfectly. Great work.

Good production on this song. Well played and progresses and builds nicely. Good job!

The drone creates an ominous sad feeling with the first lines of the lyrics whereas the last line and the progressive strum gives us hope. Really thought provoking and, ultimately, encouraging that we can emerge from dark times. I love the instrumentation and sound you create.

Thank you! This is a keeper for the new project

I love the sounds you chose for this song. I loved the progression as it went and this is probably my favorite so far!

The drone of that modular is great paired with your picking. Great feeling in your voice and lyrics.
