I forgot that today was the break of FAWM. Was fiddling at the piano, started this, finished it at the computer (well, I don't know that it's finished, but, it's whatever it is). Then I's like "hey, it's FAWM!"

Look at you go, you little Bach! I really like this. It starts out with some predictable chords and then bam! you hit us with that A7 chord and head off to very unexpected territory. Nice move! I really enjoyed the fluidity of the middle part where it's more contrapuntal. The only suggestion is to keep the movement going all the way through. M18 and 22 feel like a letdown because of all the activity that comes before it. Or as @wynia might say, "Keep that moto perpetuo perpetuing."
I love how the RH and LH harmonize in such an interesting way. Love the moto perpetuo here, if you will. Nice job!
This piano melody is truly captivating. The way it flows so effortlessly, with each note transitioning seamlessly into the next, creates a sense of calm and introspection.
I especially like the melody just after the first full measure chord. And how you reverse the direction of the arpeggios, too. Nicely contrasted.
really enjoy the chord changes & the interplay between the melodies! happy saturday! 😄
Mike said it very well below; the song slips in and out of any attempt at categorization, which makes for a wonderfully dynamic and enjoyable experience. Keep it up!
Nice! Starts with a 1950s kind of progression and somehow winds its way through some neat changes right into something out of Johann Sebastian Bach . So from 1950s to 1750s, kind of a Time Machine thing! Nicely done, I wish I had any kind of piano skills. !
Very righteous, I really like that B section. Good motivic development
