Digging A Hole (Stanley Yelnats)

Challenge: PALINDROME

Liner Notes

#punkthrash #palindrome Had a go at the palindrome challenge - wife is an English teacher and she suggested the character Stanley Yelnats from the novel Holes who has a palindromic name. Had a rough idea for a punk thrash in my head, did my best to translate it - I don't have a drum kit this year so the back of an acoustic guitar had to suffice. Excuse the feedback..

Digging a hole! (Stanley Yelnats) etc

Great hook, solid delivery, it's a banger that you could hum all day while doing backbreaking, pointless labor. You nailed it

Love the vibe, I feel like it’s very true to the original character. It has that Sisyphus energy, endless digging.

Yeah love it. Proper attitude and Stanley Yelnats is a brilliant palindrome. And as @coolparadiso says. the back of the guitar is surprisingly rocking! I'm going to pottering around this afternoon singing "digging a hole, Stanley Yelnats" to myself now. That's a proper hook. Well done.
