Hot Rod Demon Soul
by @hmorg
Liner Notes
#blackmetal #deathmetal #thrashmetal #metal #mnet The title was inspired by the game Demon's Souls where a boss called Flamelurker drops a Red Hot Demon Soul upon defeat. Some braining later and Red Hot turned into Hot Rod, which made me aim for riffs that feel like driving. I'm not entirely sure how well I succeeded, but I'm kinda happy with the end result.
Lyrics
Atomic wasteland Burning chrome Breath of hell Engine’s roar
Behold this hot rod demon soul Black angel burns out of control Forever
Forever falling Horrid ghoul In to win Hooked on speed Speed of sin
Behold this hot rod demon soul Black angel burns out of control The vile stench of rolling coal Forfeit your mortal human soul
Endless wasteland Burning chrome Breath of hell Engine’s roar
Behold this hot rod demon soul Black angel burns out of control The vile stench of rolling coal Forfeit your mortal human soul

great combo of "thrash rock" riffing and huge growling vocals - really dig your voice, yet again.
Vocals are so awesome, I’m so jealous, my throat would collapse from even attempting it. The title and lyrics are inspired and overall so fun to listen to.
Big props for the extended intro. This really creates tension. Your vocals definitely sound death metal but the instrumental is even close to hard rock. So interesting to hear that combo.
The song title makes me think of The Crown, heh. The song itself grooves very nicely! I especially dig the part around 0:50 mark. It somehow has this timeless heavy music feel of the old to it.
You are driving with speed. Solid!
This is sick! Vocals and guitar are on point
Oh boy, were driving but the game is called "Demolition Derby: This time it's personal (and I think were in hell.)"
First. The song name. Second. The bass tone. After that, everything works like it should. Maybe hone down the massive echo, it just makes it a bit hard to follow what you're singing. But not that much. I get it that were driving somewhere or in something that echoes, duhh.
That bass out of the gate... This moves around nice - some cool "triplet-y" drums in there. Smoking. May not need a second cup this morning!
The intro with the bass is super cool. There are some seriously sweet riffs here, and the driving feel is there.
