It's Really Not Complicated

by @kosch

Liner Notes

As part of the #oraclechallenge - I received the "Complicated" card - and took it as an opportunity to fire up Logic, and plug in an electric or two... it got a little #garage - y , maybe a little loud. I got frustrated with vocals, but after a couple mics, and reaching the "I've got other things to do today" part of the morning.. I let it fly. One thing I'm certain of though, these two do not have a healthy relationship... (so... maybe - complicated, after all..) #hardrock

Lyrics

It's Really Not Complicated You telling me, it's too complicated, You can't see it, you're just too jaded Got to let go, honey, we are fated It's really not all that complicated...

Got to know what's in your heart, baby, Got to know what's in your heart It's Really Not All That Complicated It's Really Not All That Complicated

All that time I was away, Lord, I just got back today I never wanted to be that way - Now, I'm back, and I'm gonna stay.

It's Really Not Complicated It's Really Not Complicated

Got to know what's in your heart, baby, Got to know what's in your heart It's Really Not Complicated It's Really Not Complicated

Ooh, love that harmony vocal and the way the lead sometimes doubles the guitar. Some things need to be loud :)

Loving the guitar work here. Nothing wrong with a nice #garage feel in my opinion 🎵

The refrain is killer. First verse drew me in. I love how the vocals, music and lyrics all work well together. Great fills. Well done.

Ooh! Loud guitars! This sounds great. It's like a nice wake-up call for a sleepy Sunday morning. I really enjoyed your playing on this. Nice work!

Love the smack vibe right from the get-go, truly will connect with everyone at some point in their lives. That solo! Superb musicianship from start to finish! Thank you so much for participating in the challenge! 😄

Loving the "punched in the face" feel at the start of the song. There are elements of early Sabbath here. Very cool

Wow I never heard you rocking the guitar in that way. Heavy sounds suit you well! Also like the optimistic lyric
