Going Nowhere
Challenge: PALINDROMELiner Notes
We took the palindrome as inspiration and incorporated it as a couple of chord sequences that play the same either way around, thematic prompts for the lyrics and a literal reversal of @oatst’s recorded vocals.
You can also flip the entire piece (which I’ve entitled Going Nowhere Backwards) and it’s almost the same. If I’d only used a truly palindromic song structure…
Recorded as a combination of direct to Logic on the iPad and WhatsApp voice memos.

This works really well. I particularly like the slightly unexpected return of non-reversed vocals near the end. Good work chaps!

Thanks for the liner notes, without them I wouldn’t have gotten the reversed audio. Nice take on the challenge!
