I was lying awake at 3am last night, thinking I should write a song about insomnia. Turns out I don’t have to now, as you’ve done a beautiful job here! Love the line about the sleeping dogs.

Wow, when the dogs stay down, you KNOW you're up too early. Love the quiet delivery, actually, as it drives the point home. Well done! Hopefully you can get some rest now that the song is released.

One of my habits as well, getting older sometimes requires one to be awake to use the facilities, hmm. Nice strum on the uke. Big points for the word quietude in liner notes too.
