Desert Gold Rush

by @chucknamaste

Skirmish: Desert - use it as a noun... (@robinleaf)

Liner Notes

This was a fun one! #skirmish #lofi #guitar #psychedelic

Lyrics

Where do I begin Sand beneath my feet Radiating from the heat Of a barren sun Where do I begin Eyes burned in from the light But the day’s turning into night Over the crest of the canyon

Where did I begin Thought we had a plan Stick up the caravan Rob em blind Where did I go wrong But words of lead were spoken Our clean hand oath was broken And I was caught in the crossfire

Is this the end Are there vultures overhead Marking me for dead In the sagebrush The rivers all washed out Bleeding out, I found my doubts Another victim of the desert gold rush

You gotta make a music video of this one. I see vultures flying around in dusty leather chaps.

Oh this is a really cool vibe. Very trippy and compelling!

Love this beat and how it sounds like it's outside at a block party or something, somehow. It's a really interesting effect, the voice and the guitar kind of blending together and sounding like they are almost one. At least that's how it sounds to me! Very cool Vibe. Thank you for joining my skirmish!

And, another song that's going on my "Desert" playlist. Hypnotic rhythm and the octave-doubled vocals are great. Love the guitar tone.

Ooh this is trippy too, love the bending groove around d that beat and the warped vocals is so cool. Great skirmish

Dude, really flippin' cool! From the unexpected boom bap to doubling the vocals with the guitar melody. I love it! Killer job with one. I haven't even been able to focus in on the lyrics yet -- the music has been too captivating.
