Colloquial Immigration

Liner Notes
the third in my '12 short nonsense songs about love' I think this one is about taking on the characteristics of your partner without realising that's whats going on - but you decide.
Lyrics
I’m not myself anymore Absorbed by colloquial immigration I’m a pop can boy caught in a soda bottle Drawn to her imagination
No all that glitters isn’t gold I was up for grabs, but it’s so hard to swallow That head over heels is a reason to follow This cultural subjugation
Colloquial immigration Colloquial immigration A rat in a trap suffocating Colloquial immigration

I saw the title and had find out how "Colloquial immigration" could used in a lyric...well damn this is awesome and that fantastic title/hook is perfectly woven into this catchy, well performed and well sung song! Like @motorcitymusicman I loved the line "I’m a pop can boy caught in a soda bottle"!! Wow!! Love the way you speak the first verse then repeat it with you singing!! So effective! Great drums and crunchy guitar... Really enjoyed this!!! #tit4tat
Ha, great topic for a song, and these lyrics are fantastic!
Like it. Reminds me a little of Scary Monsters era Bowie. Some nice guitar lines in there. Cool stuff.
Very cool song. I like the concept, and particularly the line "I'm a pop can boy caught in a soda bottle." Great job here.
Love the groove, and the chord changes are ever so groovy! I really like the ambiguity of the lyrics, yet you sing them with conviction and gravitas! You can sense that there's something important being expressed here, though we might all disagree as to what it is! Dig the abrupt end! Nice work! #tit4tat
