Every FAWM & 50/90 I try to participate in the #oraclechallenge that is hosted by @writeandwrong. This year, I received the card: Strength. Here is the meaning of the card:
"Sometimes life will present you with challenges that you think are too difficult to endure. "
This was built completely in Jeskola Buzz using a number of VSTi's, as well as samples that I found on Loopcloud. Some Buzz tricks & processing did most of the work. The vocals are care of the Luvvoice Text-To-Speech AI, played back via WDE's amazing Audio Block Buzz Machine. This is the result.
See You In The Shadows…

This is the Sequencer View in Jeskola Buzz showing the song structure & a few of the tricks used to make this song possible.
P.S.: Yes, Sloan, the Sloth is my desktop background 😆
Lyrics
Strength comes from passion Passion comes from the heart The heart is the voicebox of the Soul Strength, therefore, comes from the Soul Your Soul is the part of you That is closest to your True Self Let your Soul guide your thoughts Let your Soul guide your actions Let your Soul guide your heart And you will have strength Strength to face whatever comes your way

Really interesting take on this. I like the idea of creating your own oracle voice from the card. Cool melodies floating in at the end.
That was clearly a theme that was designed for you. Strength is a spiritual path, but also has some inherent weirdness, as the piece you've created shows. Sometimes, we're not sure where strength comes from, but it's there. Surely the Soul gives birth to it, so nevermind what the exact process is, and keep journeying.
i have no idea how you put these fascinating soundscapes together, and i dont care, listening reaps the best rewards. Soul Power! that is what i take away from the experience.
This voice would be perfect for guided meditations! The ending reminded me of beginning of Stairway to Heaven. Beautifully done! Love what you have done with the card. Thanks so much for your continued support and taking part in the challenge! 😄
That glassy sound adds a lot, like grinding gears at the start, nice how after the speech it fades out.
