Skirmish: Write about the experienc... (@robinleaf)Liner Notes
I really was thinking about giving up on the MTC this year, but then @robinleaf came up with this skirmish prompt: Write about the experience of writing a song you're writing... - and I decided to put my frustration into words. #skirmish #movietitlechallenge #fawm #acousticonetake #personwithguitar #womanwithguitar #filker #singersongwriter

Movie Title Challenge
It's FAWM again and I sign up to challenges once more never quite knowing what this time I'll be in for And then the Movie Title Challenge hits me where it hurts How am I supposed to find the right or any words and really there is now way that I'll be singing about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning
I've done songs for this challenge that I still adore and so I will sign up next year because I loved what came before But I guess this year's title will not help me in my winning for no way will I write a song to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning No way!

This is terrific! Very imaginative take on the challenge.
@phonopath @cbmagic @motorcitymusicman Thanks for your comments on "Movie Title Challenge" @philkmills GMTA I actually thought about massacring (?) chainsaws in Texas, but I'm glad I found this alternative 😀
Very creative....and fun to listen to. (Though, you could always write a song about the mass destruction of an acre of chainsaws in Texas. 😀 )
This made me laugh. Very clever adaptation of the challenge to suit your purpose. Very well done.
This is very cute. lol
This made me chuckle lovely idea to write a song about not writing a song.
Ha ha ha! I'm sure I'd feel the same way if I got that title for this challenge. I usually try to watch the movie, if I can, but this year I wasn't going to watch the movie title I got - Grace, about a newborn that drinks blood. Ha ha, so I looked up the movie plot on Wikipedia instead and was able to come up with something. I wouldn't watch any of the Chainsaw Massacre movies either, so I don't blame you. I really like what you wrote here, though, because it's entertaining and funny and a great way to tackle a challenging challenge. 😀
