I suspect there are a lot of people who relate! The "home run" bit in particular got a smile out of me.
("Go team! Which one's in green?" is pretty close to a running joke my family has. A family friend dressed up for our annual Star Trek party as an Orion, and she went to buy last-minute food ingredients while in costume and full green makeup. It turned out Green Bay was in the Super Bowl right then. She got a lot of "Go Green Bay!" in that grocery store, which she returned in the spirit of "Sure, why not?", and it's become a story we reference a lot.)

LOL I feel this. The Super Bowl is such a big event but... (whispers in Canadian) it's overhyped and underdelivers, IMO. It's just a football game.

I can well relate to this as there are very few sports events I'd get overly excited about. Great fun lyric.
