Another quick little lyric write. I took the skeleton of “Blackbird” and re-wrote the lyrics imagining kind of a 70s funk vibe with lots of wah-wah and the beat is being built up through the verses… Dua Lipa style could work too 🤷♂️ maybe I’ll come back to this and make a track later #skirmish #lyricsonly #lyrics

That’s an effective lyric, stating a goal that listeners can relate to or might even take for granted. I see where it came from, but also how it stands on its own merits.
