This one is a fun piece for the "Make it your own!" skirmish
I have kept much of the original rhyme scheme and the basic structure. I reckon many of you will be able to guess the source for this. The original is almost a dirge, I gave it a more upbeat folky feel

It has a touch of 'putting on the ritz' or anything goes, so I imagine that wasn't your source song :) Great movement and I like how you leave the lyrics open and interpretable - great groove.

I think I wrote my shirmish song on a similar theme. What is a Jessie? I think I know what Nessie is-any relation? Cute and catchy.

I have to love a character seeking truth but arguing from pop culture. The references are apt and entertaining. The song as a whole is compact and holds its focus.
