Walls are beginning to crumble

Lyrics

Now the walls I’ve built don’t seem so strong Starting to feel as if I might just belong You give me hope that I can carry on Write it down, pour it out in a song

Walls like fences never last forever They separate the pain from the pleasure On the other side, it’s always better I sent a mail today, another love letter to you

In touch with feelings I didn’t know I had You pick me up when I’m feeling sad When I’m fuming, you turn down the mad You’re the only one who understands me at all

Now the walls I’ve built don’t seem so strong Starting to feel as if I might just belong You give me hope that I can carry on Write it down, pour it out in a song Write it down, pour my heart out in a song

I love the melodies in this - the vocal is so good - and even with just a guitar backing it feels pretty complete and isn't diminished by not having additional augmentation. I envy the ability to be able to create something this 'big' sounding with just a voice and guitar. The lyrics are really nicely done - heartfelt and hit home because of that.
