Midnight Tiger
Skirmish: Unfinished FAWM/50-90 Ski... (@ally_nicole)Liner Notes
#acousticrock #acousticonetake A day late for the skirmish. This is a lyric from a skirmish on October 1, which I think must have had something to do with personal branding or look or visual identity. The title is a reference to my distinctive blue head scarf style. Today I rewrote a few lines at the ends of the verses to make them rhyme, then added music.
Lyrics
[1] Chase the shooting stars Stand in the rain Life is a winding road Joy and then pain
You have to be practical But you have to be crazy You’ll be shaking your head at the world A lot of that lately
[chorus] I’ll be waiting at the turnstiles Standing like an outsider I might not look like my profile But they call me They call me They call me The midnight tiger
[2] Don’t expect me to find you I don’t have that kind of vision But to move when it’s time to I see that with precision
It takes too long to get started It’s like moving a mountain A lifetime I’ve waited Now I’m hearing the count-in
[chorus] I’ll be waiting at the turnstiles Standing like an outsider I might not look like my profile But they call me They call me They call me The midnight tiger The midnight tiger The midnight tiger The midnight tiger

I like the beat, guitar sounds good and funky, I like the sound. Lyrics really paint a picture in my mind here!
Nice progression and melody and love the sound of your guitar! Cool!
Really nice melody and lyrics! I really like how you go up in the chorus.
Intriguing lyrics, especially the second stanza. Good song, Tiger 😀
