I found myself sitting on this for days, trying to fine tune certain details, rerecord some lyrics and then raise the whole thing up from g min to b min and rerecord everything again, and repeat for eternity. This is the kind of behavior I follow on all other months. I'm not supposed to do that here, and it snuck in on me. Time for a reset. Post FAWM, structure and transition change, rewrite chorus, record real drums and bass and then scrap it 3 months later.

The middle must be rectified, just not sure what to do yet. The bass is still g minor and pitched up. Obviously I'm planning on keeping it.

The chorus seems different in the song than on paper, and it changes the feel of the song. It was supposed to be one person longing for the other person to reciprocate the feelings that they strongly feel. The moment when it switches from crushing hard but enjoying the vibe nonetheless because 'oh wow. this is happening.' Bet then I started hearing a desperate duet after changing on some of the opening chorus words to 'oh' instead of 'how' or 'know'. Of course, it wasn't supposed to have lyrics in the first place and I saw a derailed train and ran with it. #indiepop #pop #synthpop #synth
