And no one wants to talk to a stranger Fear of what you might do They’re always on the lookout for danger Easier to ignore, just walk on, take a view

And the city seems so large You wonder what has changed You feel like you’re underwater, submerged Everything has been arranged

It’s hard to feel at home in the city Not like it was back home The streets are hard and the road is slippery And you have the urge to roam
