The Three Shards The Final Chapter: A Most Unfortunate Trade

A Most Unfortunate Trade Despite protestations from the others that there must be another way, Leatherwood reaches across the dark threshold and vanishes from the Earth. The mausoleum cracks and falls to a pile of rubble.

Left in her place is Jelly’s rigored body. Without the soul, the body is nearly dead itself, withering much like Jelly’s spirit. Mr. Ri lays Jelly’s body out in the gray grass and entreats Lydia to lay next to him and take Jelly’s hand.

Incantations. Incense. Strange potions. Bringing these together, Mr. Ri does the work of pulling Jelly out of Lydia’s body and returning him to his own. Jelly now restored, the group turned their gaze to the rubble. They stood in silence wondering how to get Leatherwood back. And then Mr. Ri spoke up…... “I have a plan…”

Captivated from the start. The mists rise as the camera pans across the soundscape. All is vast, initially, before we are populated by the sad and strange details of the scene, which remains mysterious in what we can see of the rituals and magic, all of which lies amongst the familiar scenes of tragedy and devastation, like a naval battle.

I love the suspense and darkness you’re able to get across through combining these synth, violin, and piano sounds. Great tension build - I can’t wait to go back through and listen to all of these in order

Bravo! This track really conveys a sense of an end to a movie much like Lord of the Rings or something, but we know there is more to come in the next movie! I see the credits rolling to this. :)
