The White Whale

Liner Notes
This one almost got away from me. It sounded terrible but somehow it came out with its character quickly and I left it to do its own thing. I wrote this on keyboard using the stock Logic electric piano sound.
AI is used in the production, but not in song writing, melodies, structure, etc. This was produced in Logic.
But then I managed to turn it all around. Written and recorded in about 5 hours.
This song is about trying to make a relationship work and finding the elusive thing to make it work. Also, I left in the nod to 'weird fishes' by Radiohead.
Lyrics
[verse 1] I will build a house, Looking out to sea We will find happiness then Happiness then.
I will build a mighty ship, We will sail the waves We will find happiness then Happiness then.
[Chorus] I cannot fail Somewhere under the waves I'll find the white whale, I'll find the white whale, (the white whale)
[Verse 2] I will build a submarine, The colour of your eyes, We will find happiness then, Happiness then.
In the deepest ocean,
Where no one else has been,
We will find happiness then,
Happiness then.
[Chorus] I cannot fail Somewhere under the waves I'll find the white whale, I'll find the white whale, (the white whale)
[Chorus] I cannot fail Somewhere under the waves I'll find the white whale, I'll find the white whale,
I cannot fail Somewhere under the waves I'll find the white whale, I'll find the white whale, (the white whale)

Great lyric and nice production on it. Great play on the white whale metaphor
Absolutely lovely melody in the chorus, and verses accompany it perfectly. Sounds something you'd hear from 80's themed radio station.
Listening this another time, I'm loving the chorus even more. Is it possible to download this somehow?
Ooh this is really great too!! Its probably something you already know, but I think this song needs a bridge there in the end to be really complete. Not that you have to do it now or anything lol, but ya 😀
