Everybody, Sometimes
Skirmish: You've Got the Right to b... (@deandra)Liner Notes
#acousticonetake #folkrock I discovered the skirmish 32 minutes late, so this is pretty lightweight.
Lyrics
Everybody plays guitar It doesn’t matter who you are You may stay here you may go far Sometimes Sometimes
Everybody plays the bass Or else they try and they make mistakes Sometimes all you can do is fake Sometimes Sometimes
Love can be so strange That’s how you know it has to change And you try And you change baby And you try And you change
Everybody takes the stage It’s like they’re let out of their cage They don’t know why they should turn the page Sometimes Sometimes
Love can be so strange That’s how you know it has to change And you try And you change baby And you try And you change
Everybody knows how to rhyme The fact is they do it all the time So bad it ought to be a crime Sometimes Sometimes

Cool Neil Young vibe. Good title and take on the prompt. I like the held out notes on "sometimes."
It may be lightweight, that depends on so many factors, but it’s certainly fun and a good response to the prompt.
Sorry for taking so long to comment, I'm at work at the moment. I like how welcoming this take on the prompt is; I guess we're all trying stuff, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But it doesn't feel lightweight to me, it certainly has a meaning I can feel 😊
This was fun, love the free-flowing lyric. Hey, I relate to the musical instrument lines, and the bad rhymes, (although my instruments stay just frowning at me mostly), thus the AI use in my songs. Thanks for the song!
Well done, especially for only half skirmish time 😆 I like the music-inspired direction of the lyrics, very on theme for the challenge and FAWM in general!
Hm. Do I hear a little bit of sarcasm there? Lol. Love the song.
