i've been trying to write this song for years. i got the idea for the title so long ago but could never get the first version of a bad melody for it unstuck from my head . somehow i managed today to get a version i like. no chords yet - maybe later, maybe not. constructive criticism welcome. (this is obviously a rough first draft :) )

CHORUS: B - Y- O - C means bring your own cowbell play it all night, just go and give 'em hell
You'll know which house to attend when you arrive around the bend just head around back when you come say hello and start havin' fun
We'll have ear plugs, in a bowl makin noise is our goal you may have heard the neighbors say some awful things the other day
don't worry 'bout the cops stoppin' the fun noise ordinance don't start 'til one if neighbors complain, we'll just yell "Give the folks MORE COWBELL"

Hell Yeah. I Love this song. Reminds me of an old Irish tune or old slave protest hymn. I can hear a room of sweaty smiling revolutionaries belting this out with you. Keep on rocking and writing! so creative. so good.

It’s a good-time hoedown, focused on the greatest percussion instrument of all! Lots of terrific lyrics here, starting from the very first lines of the chorus, and of course lots of terrific cowbell already in place. It’s tremendous fun already, and I’m looking forward to when you maybe do a full-fledged version one day!
