This could be the one

Liner Notes
Found this guitar riff saved but forgotten in bandlab from years ago. Wrote some words and it came together pretty quickly. Double tracked the guitar and vocals then added some melodica and a toy glockenspiel.
Lyrics
Get your mind in the right place Pressure building up with every move you make I just need a bit more space
Try to focus on the now I can feel the heat coming off my brain Turn it round I don't know how
It's hard to really want something and see it slip away But always remember that this could be the one today
So tired I can barely see The silence ringing in my ears Now they're looking right at me
When it's over I'll be glad I'm running out of time to pull it out the bag Now every choice I have looks bad
Sometimes it's easy to forget You're not the only one who does things they regret And no this isn't over yet.

Really dig this! The instrumentation and doubled voice work so well to set the vibe. Great ending too.
The opening chord sequence really drew me in. The melodica makes it really melancholy.
"Now every choice I have looks bad" is a great line.
Seems sad but ends with muted optimism. Really good song.
Meodica and toy glock...hurrah for kid instruments knocking about! Beautiful.
