#wurlitzer #edvardmunch #singersongwriter #wintervibes #girlwithpiano I look everyday at this DailyArt app that has a new piece of art everyday, and this incredible mural by Edvard Munch (famous for The Scream) popped up a week or so ago, called The Sun. And it's just a tiny picture on my phone but I've been going back to it every day and this song is mostly inspired by it. Needs more verses, etc but I like the direction, especially the descending progression towards the end.

Love this! Inspired me to look up the painting you referenced and it definitely has "technicolor rays". I've been to Norway for about a week on vacation and follow a few people who live there and post regular updates on social media and I'm sure the sun re-emerging after months of darkness can feel exactly like that painting and this song! Beautiful tone to your voice and accompaniment!

I like the nuance of "knowing I'm in need" to "knowing it's time" for a breakthrough, and then lay that musical shift on us. Effective!
