Hold Their Feet to The Fire

Liner Notes
There are large chunks of society who've chosen subservience to their leaders over their own freedom. Most notably in the American right, but not exclusively. So I picked up my new #bass and wrote a vaguely #political song about it.
Lyrics
Tell me Mr President who would you like me to be Is it this subservience on which your land is founded Didn't you hope for better? Didn't you used to dream? Oh please Mr President, whom you live to serve
Are you going to let them push you 'round Are you going to let them grind you down Are you going to let them push you 'round Are you going to let them grind you down Grind you down
Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many
Tell your Mr President where you want him to go Give him his marching orders, he is there to serve Rediscover your spirit, rebuild your tomorrow Make your country great again, once more for the free
Are you going to let them grind you down Are you going to let them push you 'round Are you going to let them grind you down Grind you down
Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many
Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many Hold their feet to the fire We don't kneel for any body Hold their feet to the fire We are the many

Vaguely political? lol. Seems pretty obvious to me. Anyways, hell yeah! Gimmie that punk shit! Bass is the superior instrument ;) I def like the bass tone here. I mean, I like the song... but I like me a bass.
As @gwenthered says, yes, it's very obvious!
This is stirring and possibly even a genuine call to action!
