The word I'd choose is 'wistful.'

I feel the light of the blue moon as in my mind I waltz through a moonlit courtyard in some placevery far from the horrible realities. I feel the longing in the music and a dash of hopefulness. Then I am back at my computer. Could have waltzed a little longer. Thoroughly enjoyed.
