@doglatin "Gaslighting Bastard" was the working title. I also considered "Your Big Chance." After a week of gigs, writing other songs, and thinking on that night, it definitely feels like writing this was constructive. Thanks for checking it out!

Sounds like some gaslighting bastard done you wrong. I imagine you were tempted to slam the car in reverse and floor it when you saw him in your taillights. Whew, that was a close one! Well, you did the constructive thing, you let it dispel, changed your guitar strings, and wrote a really thoughtful song, that works well as a cautionary tale and pleasant tune as well. I enjoyed it!
