This is for the #oraclechallenge I was given "Fragment" - Sometimes it seems that life is split into so many parts, all of them separate and difficult to bring together.

This kind of ended up being a #mentalhealth #political maybe more of a #sociopolitical song?

The guitar and vocals are all me with Finn in the background of the guitar track. I could have closed 2 doors to muffle the sound but chose not to and now I really like it there. Perhaps before he gets adopted I'll just leave a mic set up and record him for future use.

I use Modo drums to get the pattern and then used Decent Sampler Indie drums to get the drum sounds. I was going to add bass but I am having an issue with the bass and don't really feel like trouble shooting it all the deeply at this time.

There's some basic mixing done which is good enough for a FAWM demo with a cat singing the song of his people in the background.

oh lovely, this is so up my street, and i feel and experience all of those lyrics. And isn't it interesting with such powerful words, the music elevates to such a level. I adore the chord movements and the way you express it vocallyis perfect. A really gorgeous heartfelt powerful song

Oooo… this is one of you finest! Your lyrics have a haunting heartfelt insightful feel. The hook is brilliant. So many great lines. That chorus really speaks to me. The guitar music and melody are perfect. And your vocals on this are absolutely gorgeous - full of tender emotion! Beautiful song!

I enjoyed your melody and vocal a lot. They are both so smooth and sound so good. I also liked the background vocals, an excellent touch. And a great take on the challenge.

Aww... the cat meowing made me giggle. He's singing along with you! Your lyrics are great. I especially like the chorus. I can relate to that. Nice acoustic 'roomy' sound which suits the 'fragments' card. Well sone on your Oracle challenge!
