I have a million ideas right now and time is running out, still I'm doing full compositions. Maybe it's something for next FAWM, to do more raw stuff just to get things out, but then again I love mixing so much. This one will probably be revisited though, as I still want to fiddle with stuff here and there.
This song is a love song, but it's primarily directed to the universe/god/life force/whatever you might call it. But as we are human, it is still human love - a bit conditional and painful.
Btw: As much as it's sometimes a pain in the a. to record instruments (the piano probably 20 times), I just love to play bass to a song. It's so magical that everything comes together with a bit of bass. BUT - it's so damn unforgivable. If you hit that string too hard, you can hear it. I desperately want to learn to play bass decently.

I love that style of yours. It's like shoegaze meets pop and prog. Great idea also to write about the universe and not a conventional love song. Entrancing. So far one of my favourites of you

The chord sequence that runs into the bridge section is lovely, a real highlight of the song which sounds beautifully produced and gloriously sung. I'd be tempted to experiment with the singing in the second chorus, maybe some ad libs in the left and right channels, some fun vocal runs drenched in reverb? Nice work, good luck with the rest of fawm!

your mix is heaven in my earphones. your really do take love to a higher level than the reality of human relationships. vocals are so gorgeous, romantic, and sad.

What fun! A lot of work went into this, and it's beautiful. But wow, a tough take on human love ... one with you/I adore you or I'd rather not breathe at all. Yes, though, being in sync has a glorious feel.

Glad you're brimming with ideas and inspiration - such a good feeling. I'd also love to be able to play the bass properly, but my fingers get so sore. Flatwound strings definitely helped me, but still, the blisters...
This has such a cool feel, the vocal's awesome, and the piano and synth are so insistent, so propulsive. The drumming's great too - does all the right things in all the right places. Lovely stuff!
