I heard a fun fast pop song while listening to other stuff here and thought I'd give a shot to write something more upbeat.
I found the title "Eyes Like Daggers" written in my idea book with no other lyrics and based the song on that.
Lyrics
Verse 1: (A) Eyes like daggers cutting me down (D) Searching for things I have not found (B) Angry aardvarks escaped from the zoo (E) Every falsehood has a mix of (D) truth Snap the whip like a hurricane Everywhere I turn things gone insane I need to shut down the Internet I read the comments and lost the bet

I love, love the rhythm in this one! The lyrics--comparing the now to escaped animals, yeah. The first two lines are so chock with meaning. "Eyes like daggers cutting me down/searching for things I have not found." For sure. People get so angry with each other for not knowing the same things--utter madness. The last verse is a teasing mystery that makes me want to listen again, but it is 2 am. lol
