Life In the Jungle

Liner Notes

Because if I'm going to call myself Kim o' the Concrete Jungle, I should probably do some reggae now and then.

Lyrics

This is life in the jungle Where the trees are made of steel And the only the green Is the mold on your meal Where the cliffs made of towers Encroach of shady streets Where no one has the time to stop And no one wants to meet

It's life in the jungle Where you fight for elbow room Where a two room apartment Is your respite from the gloom And you might not know your neighbours But your friends are close at hand And the landlord lords over As he makes his demands

And you're here for the money But you spend it all on rent And you've maxed out your credit card On eighteen percent

Those lyrics are pure cyberpunk, so the choice of making this a reggae song is spot-on (invoking shades of Maelcum's gang in Gibson's "Neuromancer"). As always, it's nice to see this all happening on camera. I really appreciate the amount of work you put into doing these.
