Oh, how heartbreaking. Great ending - sicken the flowers wehre peace once grew. Great image! And it seams the prompt took many of us in a similar direction and most of us in a rather somber feeling...
This could be a poem from lord of the rings also! Sad to think we live in a challenging time also. Very curious as to how it will sound put to music! Awesome Skirmishing!

This is really incredible - I love the intricacies of the music and the darkness in the direction you went with the lyric. The driving beat is a a wonderful juxtaposition with your flowing well phrased vocal delivery. I love how the intensity evolves.
