Another one for the concept album, but I really need to put a bit more effort into the lyrics so it actually makes sense...

Anyway. This is another one with an odd background - it's based on an indie rock/guitar instrumental idea I recorded in 2010. Tried to write a song around it in that style, but it just wasn't working - so I turned to synths instead.

Voice was a bit dry and ragged this morning, but seems to have mixed in alright with all the echo. Actually used a condenser mic instead of my usual Beta 58a for some 'fun'.

Wow I realllly love this! The whole space coasting vibe just slaps. You have some really really interesting chord changes and the tapestry of different sound textures is very compelling. Great listen! 💚

You have a CS-80?! So glad someone uses it not just to play Vangelis! (Though I do love the Blade Runner soundtrack.) This sounds so 1979/80, I was almost expecting to hear some "Vox Humana" sounds! 😄 This is a banger. Though I wish it had more vocals.
