Here I go again

Challenge: PERSONAL SOUNDTRACK

Liner Notes

#rock #indie #12-string Wrote most of this one last year and just finished it up. It is about having ADHD :) Also an excuse to use my 12-string electric. I want to put some harmonies and stuff on it, but this will work for now.

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Started out strong before my Mind began taking flight I saw things clearly then they faded out of sight

Distractions keep compounding Too many thoughts to hold Is my grip slipping Or am I just getting old?

[Chorus] Here I go again, where do I begin? A hundred open doors, I can’t walk in Round and round I go, i’m lost inside the spin

[Verse 2] The clock is ticking, and the Seconds just slide away I need to focus ‘fore I lose another day

Now the end is fast approaching Race to the finish line My motivation peaks as I run out of time

[Chorus] Here I go again, where do I begin? A hundred open doors, I can’t walk in Round and round I go, i’m lost inside the spin

[Bridge] I’m not lost, just free, This chaos is a part/the heart of me

[Chorus] Here I go again, where do I begin? A hundred open doors, I can’t walk in Round and round I go, i’m lost inside the spin

Excellent song. Loving the jingle jangle pop sounding 12 string and the tremolo. Good strong melody and some nice harmonies in there, too.

Oooh, that 12 string sounds soooo lovely. Great melodies in the the verse and chorus, and the sonic pallette is really cool. (Trem in the bridge is super cool, ditto the backing vox.)

I really like that chorus hook a ton.

This is a killer tune, feels super cohesive and really carves out its own space and stakes a claim to it. Thumbs up!
