This is quite beautiful and yes, enchanting, but I do hate to think where those pine needles ended up.

Love all the colors and sense images in this, and esp. V3 with "butter moons" and "sky quilts". That is just lovely writing. And to have this warm "enchanted journey" also be "taboo adventures we could never speak of" is quite moving.

I like how the bridge shifts: not just the timeframe but also moves from the verses' sensory style to a more direct message; from the choruses' shared experience to the more personal viewpoint. Very subtle and effective.
