Fruitus Lupus Days

Liner Notes
This takes inspiration from "Monstrilio" by Gerardo Sámano Córdova, which I just finished reading. Leaving this one kind of sparse/raw
Lyrics
An ominous growl too hungry to eat like I’m throwing up rabbits Is it all an act or is there acid beneath Vertical meat struggling to speak Keep my mouth shut to hide my teeth I’m all unknowns underneath
I’m in my fruitus lupus days Edging towards plausible deniability We’re all making performance art Out of the tentacles of family It’s heavy to walk on these four limbs When I could be swinging from a tree
Set up a phone Install an app Endless meal delivery I pay it all back in tedium The true skill of this work is the mental gymnastics it takes to connect it to my animal needs
I’m in my fruitus lupus days Slipping away from polite company We’re all making outsider art Safe in the tentacles of family It’s heavy to walk on these four limbs When I could be swinging from a tree
I’m in my fruitus lupus days Lost in collective memory We’re all making derivative art in the grasping tentacles of family It’s so heavy to walk on these four limbs When I could be swinging from a tree
This has a really nice feel to it. I really like the melody, especially the chorus. Really nice poetic lyrics. I really like deep lyrics that you have to dig into. Great job!
