Work On It

I had thought/hoped that I might write a little more this week between gigs, but I've been feeling rundown and laying in bed watching Younger on Netflix instead.

At my gig this past Sunday, I was checking my electric guitar volume playing this groove in A. The drummer started jamming with me. I recorded, like, 30 seconds worth for to jog my memory later.

Last night I wrote a few verses and I think it's all right. Really, it's just an excuse to play this groove. And one chord songs that you can belt out are useful in a jam.

Go ahead: write a verse and leave it in the comments.

Sometimes one chord is all you need. And groove it does! I like the work song of the lyrics -- great match to the drive of the guitar riff. I love the way you chased down these ideas this FAWM. Best get to it!

Oh that groove/riff is so cool - nearly got me off the sofa!! And it's a mighty cool title and song idea. It works perfectly... it's exactly the sort of thing I remember my drummer years ago would have gone "What do you mean 'unfinished'? It's done!! Let's do it in the gig tonight!"

Great groove, was bopping along with this! Don't have another verse for you sorry, also too busy watching Younger on Netflix! 😂
