Swam

Why do I always make such short songs

#electronic

Lyrics

We are not the only ones with this fate or this luck They did not care for us And I won't fall for it again If we can make it to the end

And we swam just to find the shore of a remote island

We were shipwrecked at dawn, that's when we found the truth But with nothing we could do How are we supposed to learn? How can we get out of this?

And we swam just to find the shore of a remote island

If there was ever a fool as big as I was I would give him my crown I would laugh at his face You've served us well

And we swam just to find the shore of a remote island

And we swam just to find the shore of a remote island

Really liking the chorus in this song. It really takes off and soars in a very sing-a-long-a way. Tidy rhythm section too, keeping it all moving and I really like the choice of synth for that melody line. Very nice. #tit4tat

Sub 3 minutes is perfect imo -- it's those 3:30 epics I struggle with. 😎

Anyway, I like that New Orderish delivery -- drum with bass throb; synth sonics and lyrical rhythms & harmonies.

I like the hook over "and we swam..." and the stop-the-instruments ending is rather cool!
