What a journey, such a chilled banger! Love how you always manage to use a different palette of colours and instrumentation, but with your distinct fingerprint and signature sound ever present. Very cool how it effortlessly shifts between feels and tempos too, barely noticed that! I don't feel any nakedness, just delightful contrast. Lovely vocals, so intimate and clear as a bell. Great lyrics too, you could read into this in so many ways.

love all the space in the beginning. the sparse and elusive lyrics too! the second verse in particular is quite the cognitive rugpull. the instrumentation is understandably cool and it makes for an enticing mix! well done!

The combination of the two of you is very strong as far as the music and production goes. @jennakole 's voice is not only beautiful, but the lyric is beautifully expressed by her, and the contrast between the vocal flow and the jagged percussive arrangement does indeed resonate with "Safe."

That being said, and as @mdavisto knows, I'm a lyric person. The lyric is a bit unfocused. It needs some kind or arc. It's late, late FAWM, I know, so yeah, understandable.

I absolutely love that vocal and all the effects on it. Great performance. This is a total banger. So damn cool.

The break section is wonderful and airy after the hectic verse. Love those punchy distorted synthnl stabs though, so cool.

The vocals sound great here, the softness fits the backing track totally and gives the while thing an organic quality.

I love these vocal effects! I agree that the bpm and triplet changes were necessary, or at the very least extremely cool. I like “we’re safe” as the hook, and the climbing verse melodies are very memorable
