Peanut Butter Monkey

So this is actually a collab, but with someone who's not on FAWM (yet). Mad Mallet Malcolm "Mally" Aberdein, an astonishing six string bassist that I met back in my youngling days.
We were at one point working as roadies for a function band - decent enough gig, cash in hand, bar is generally free. We were unloading at this posh dome venue in Camps Bay, and because of carrying too much shit, we both elected to wear a tom drum as a hat.
We had been casually talking about maybe doing a thing, as you do, but as we looked at each, the band title seemed obvious: Drumheads.
Thirty years later, tadaaaaa.
Mal doesn't deserve to be loops, but then I sent him a very different drum loop at a very different tempo, and then accidentally this happened. Actually it wants a bass solo.
I don't have time for serious lyrics this late in FAWM so I wrote these mostly in the car on the way to school, taking words from the boys explaining games to me. And then verse 2 because it needed one.
Lyrics
Peanut butter monkey Baseball bat Womp womp
New Chimera upgrades Shotgun cats Stomp stomp
Cinnamon sandwich, Toblerone Strawberry cherry, sugar cone
Wiggle jiggle signal Polka dots OK
Sizzle rizzle fizzle Senna pods No way
Silicon feelings, smokey sway Big shiny free things, step this way

Holy funk. What a beautiful groove. The fact that the lyrics are making perfect sense to me is probably a sign that I need more/less sleep/alcohol.
Savoy Truffle. This just bops, man. And I love the vocal. What am I missing that this is NSFW?
Ok I’m shattered after work so I’m currently laid down but I still managed to bust shapes to this. Infectiously fun!
we need more of that smooth Toblerone voice man! and more rrrrrrratck. PBJ this one!
I like the lyrics, very Beatles. This is inspiring. Makes me want to start a new session in Logic and make something. Of course the bass is amazing. I like the guitars with the delay.
This made me grin, like, fully grin. There’s an ease to this that just delivers happy chem. There are also like 40 excellent drag names in this. It would make an excellent brain rot drag piece.
Oof, this struts heavy. That thumping bass tone is so darn phat, what a jam! Nice dropped vocal sound too, suits the funky ass shizzle to a tizzle!
