Baby's first morph! I kept some melody, chord progression, and a few lyrics & concepts from John's Phish meets Bo Burnham number -- but ya know, had to throw it in an open tuning and make it so much sadder because it's what I know how to do. I promise I know how to play guitar better than this but I just didn't have more takes in me.

Trained for the response the bell is rung Instant gratification keeps you young Inject your worries with a paralytic Wanna be a smooth armchair critic
What’s going on in there?
It’s never good enough When is it good enough? When was it good?
Virtue signaling trying to get clout We’re all lining up for the carnival cutout
What’s going on in there?
It’s never good enough When is it good enough? When is it good?
Division lulls like a mother’s steady hum While they pave from pulpit to podium
We know what’s going on in there What’s going on in there
Enough is enough When is it good enough

Fantastic ending song to the morph chain! It is always interesting to see where it goes. I would have never expected that what I contributed to the chain would ultimately morph into something so insightful and gorgeous! Love your vocals and the melancholy you bring to the song.
I love this - I'm the one before John in the chain. I've loved morphin' - it's great to see how there are all these different songs but there is a commonality that runs right through from the beginning. Yours is an awesome addition to the set. I love the edginess of the guitar with your vocal. Great morph. :-)
The open tuning is very pretty and your vocals wrap up the guitar in a cozy blanket. The sound makes me imagine someone wrapped up in in a blanket riding in the passenger seat, being taken home after a troubling experience.
Way to bring this very diverse morph to a close on a minor chord tune. Great first time morphing, too
