Oh Brother

Lyrics
Seems the only way we talk on the phone these days is when someone we know has passed away. Do you remember when you'd leave your dirty socks on my bed? And we'd sit and listen to cassettes instead of sending texts. Oh, brother.
We'll always have the Atari 2600 before the crash of '83. On Christmas morning, Mom and Dad holding hands like it used to be.
Oh, brother, where did it all go ...
When you moved away everything had to change. You got the wife and kids and settled in for those new golden days. I tripped a couple of times and didn't know how much it would break my stride. Now there are so many miles between us and so many left behind. Oh, brother.
We'll always have the Atari 2600 before the crash of '83. On Christmas morning, Mom and Dad holding hands like it used to be.
Oh, brother, where did it all go ... Oh, my brother.

...and it is great. This is some powerful lyric writing. Reflecting on relationships and just not understanding how they fizzle into this weird state. The use of "Oh, brother..." and it's multiple meanings. This is rooted in some powerful emotion that you crafted into a great narrative. (Btw...are you talking about the video game crash of 83?)
Oh gosh, I really feel this one. That first line, ouch. Love the details about dirty socks, and Atari, and your mom and dad holding hands. . . hurts my heart. Clean guitar and your voice is crisp and clear, sounds great!
