COUNTRY, FOLK, ACOUSTIC, HUMOR This is a slight rewrite, inspired by an old coworker. He used to keep us in stitches with he and his girlfriends roller coaster romance.

Monday she’s beyond compare he’s so glad she’s in his life Tuesday he’ll swear he’s gonna make that girl his wife By Wednesday she’s gettin fat she’s a nag and she’s a bore Thursday he’ll up and pack and slip out the back door Friday he’ll give her a call say he didn’t mean it all Saturday they’ll make up Sunday they’ll get rested up To start it all again

It’s a love/hate relationship they’re in They love to hate each other so much that it’s a sin They’ll knock the pictures off the wall Curse till the neighbors call the law It’s a twisted love affair But they don’t really care

I love the days of the week structure to the song (and how you tell it from each side separately), andI like the framing in the last verse of "their fashion." This is nicely creative -- and I lke that the narrator, outside of this all, can simply "wish them all the best."
