Just in before the deadline. Here is my response to the What would you say to an Alien Skirmish.

Jaunty and playful with a dreadfully serious message. Love the addition of the chorus - fits really well. Glad to revisit this song!

Love the message, love the lines: "Is there in(D)telligent life in the universe?" and "So (F#m) get back in your U.F.O. and (A) speed off into space Be(E)fore you are infested by this (D) crazy (E) human (A) race" I guess we have all made a mess of this beautiful place...

Nice job framing the infection here. Excellent advice to the visiting aliens who "meant well." Did you actually manage to do all of this within the skirmish time?! I'm impressed.

Infected is such a good word for what we are doing! I suspect you don’t know you have recreated an Eric Bogle song, Beam Me Up Scotty. I like yours better.

Parable on the wanton destruction of the planet and seas we crawled out of. Definitely feels like a time where if aliens came by it would be best to tell them either to go home, take some key people, or help us out! Gotta beat the plague of us.
I had some similar thoughts but turned into my nostalgic self lol. I like your take. Happy recording.

This was my first insticnt also. not sure they want to come here. 😄 . very nicely done and look forward to the musical side of it.
All of this. Do you have a melody in mind? These are great poignant verses; I wonder if there could be a chorus in there somehow. Wonderful write!

Love it! (Beam me up Jim Beam). The line “but there’s a lot of wars” could be the point you take it slow, then whisper the next line (or shout in the concert setting). This is top notch and your voice is fun. I’m on board for your tour of the galaxy.
