Oh that guitar has a ton of cool new wave energy, love that mix of crunchiness and jangliness. @loveonamixtape knocks it out of the park as always with the vox and the rhythm section ties everything together well - definitely feels like a lost demo tape from some late 80s band that almost made it!
I'm here for this 90s groove! Total 'tude. Love the vocal delivery, and the bass, drums, and guitar create the perfect canvas for it.
@hornesgiftshop fun bass buddy!
I bet this was a challenge to do guitar and vocals first. I'm loving that guitar tone, just classic. This has a modern 80s new wave vibe that I'm a sucker for. The unique vocal pattern and fitting voice really makes this something catchy and fun.
Rhythm section is solid. That bass groove with the drums are tying everything together nicely.
Love everything here! Great driving bass and drums, cool shimmering chords, and a killer vocal delivery over it all. Great work!!
Glad it got finished thanks for making a mix and sharing it @hornesgiftshop, nice jangly guitar, cool vocals with attitude agree that it has 90’s vibe,
@bigb I'm confused now - can you hit edit and do the credits please? - thanks. Nice guitar by the way.
Special mention to @hornesgiftshop for the save on the final mix. My new laptop is still in the box. Zero blame.
Oh wow that's a cool group effort. The guitar has a cool rhythm that works so well with the complex vocal phrasing. Interesting choice of taming rather subtle drums. The bass has a good groove. You sound like a band jamming on a stage getting ready for a 90s rock festival. There's a lot of power in the song.
Wonderful rock and roll collab! Like Elvis Costello mixed with Margaret Glaspy. 🤘🎶 Nice work!
