Oooh the choice of dropped D is so good with this. Love that intro and when you hit that low D. This is recorded on a VoiceNote app? I love the sound of your guitar in this recording and the balance of it and your voice is wonderful! The little crackle and pops are kind of endearing to the lo-fi nature of this but agree with MBmusic that a produced recording seems like this would be amazing.

I really like the sound of your voice and guitar. It's a solid work in progress and I know it will sound amazing once you have it fully recorded. Great job!

That main melody is very hummable, and along with the way you bring up concepts like complex emotions and single moments that change us, plus the metaphor that leaves room to fill in... I'll be thinking about this song for a while.
