Lyrics

Days felt like running uphill Never reaching the top Unexpected obstacles All the signs saying stop

Circle and circle back around Where is the rationale and reason Until you almost know this ground Every last illusion

Arriving at the finish line in The company of angels and guides It smells like divine timing On all sides

Five miracles in one afternoon All the candles burning Racing ahead of the new Moon For a new beginning

Arriving at the finish line in The company of angels and guides It smells like divine timing On all sides

Look back and remember Race on and surrender

Arriving at the finish line in The company of angels and guides It smells like divine timing On all sides

Nice! These are some powerful lyrics. I love the images they evoke, and the trust that comes through.

I think my favourite line is "Look back and remember / Race on and surrender", though "you almost know this ground / Every last illusion" is a close second.

Many people treat bad experiences "proof that God hates me", while good experiences are credited to "luck" -- when in reality it is often exactly the other way around!

Nice writing - I'm intrigued by the "five miracles in one afternoon" part. There HAS to be a tune coming, no? 😊
