This will be the last song for this FAWM and it's still a work in progress. No, this year no 14 songs. Had a really exhausting week and instead of dragging myself to my DAW, I decided just not to burn myself out. It should be fun and light..
Vocals will be re-recorded, lyrics possibly edited and a second verse and chorus will be added. Maybe also another Instrument. Something for the first few days of March. I still wanted to upload the first bits anyhow, to have a motivation to finish it. I had - again - so much fun playing bass to this one and will maybe change the playing up a bit for the chorus.
The demo is 2 minutes long. It seems Luna (My new DAW) is really counter-intuitive when it comes to things like setting the end-point of a song. I’ll really have to decide if I want to keep using it, or just UA plugins with my old DAW, in future projects.

Nice jumpy beat and starry keyboard under the sweet vocals. The suspenseful story matches the mood.

It's OK not to write 14 songs during FAWM. This one is definily a keeper. Good arrangement just a bit short.
Maybe your DAW has a setting where you can extend the song length or set a standard. Took me a while to find it in Cubase. I hit it with my 10 minute song lol
How can you spot a natural bassist? It grooves and doesn't always use the root note.
