The Dragon Stroll

Liner Notes
Cowrite with a non-FAWM person, Anita Howell lives here on my property and works for me teaching pottery wheel. This is a song for our little micro-world. Probably will get another verse or two and a bridge. Music is being composed but not ready to put all together yet! #lyricsonly
Lyrics
Here out in the desert we have a special zone A place we can be safe a place that we call home Protected by a dragon, some fire and a lion That’s how we roll doing the dragon stroll
When we get our clay, it comes on a truck In 50 pound boxes try picking that up We get out our wire and slice off a hunk That’s how we roll doing the dragon stroll
People come in and look around this place Wondering what the heck is the look on their face Then they are addicted once they get the taste That’s how we roll doing the dragon stroll
Chorus When the wheel starts to spin and your hands touch the clay Suddenly, somehow there’s more balance in your day We know how it go oh ohs Cause we’ve been doing the dragon stroll
We have a sweet Pea yes shes the Queen kitty kitty Shes been here since she was itty bitty Shes the head of the critter committee That’s how we roll doing the dragon stroll

So fun to get a glimpse of your micro-world through song lyrics. It really shows the charming nature of the pottery studio. Sweet Pea sounds like a precious kitty. I love the phrase "critter committee".
Now this is a lovely lyric. I can only imagine the peacefulness, mindfulness of a pottery wheel. But you've made it more real for me here.
